The Michael C. Carlos Museum is one of the best-kept secrets of great museum collections, although it did gain some fame recently for returning an important pharaonic mummy to Egypt. The collection is housed at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. It has 5 main galleries of ancient artifacts which I have photographed and placed into 4 albums on my website. Three are from July, 2009; the fourth was added July, 2010. Photos by Gary L. Todd, Ph.D., Professor of History, Sias International University, Xinzheng, Henan, China. http://picasaweb.google.com/GaryLeeTodd/MichaelCCarlosMuseumAtlantaAncientGreekRomanGallery#

We the Carlos Docents have just discovered your image database of our collections. Thank you so very much! We have wanted to do something like this, but no one ever seemed to have the time. You did this in one day?!
I have created a private web-site for the docent’s and have placed links to your galleries, I also hope to make use of your images for our training purposes as needed. I read you have no problem of non-profit use. If you wish to access our site e-mail me and I would be happy to give you the user and passwords. Thanks again, Pat
Please feel welcome to use my photos and website any way you wish. I believe knowledge should be made freely available to anyone who is interested.
