Privately-owned Chinese artifacts

The Chinese wisely permit private ownership of common ancient artifacts, which are often sold in antique markets like the one in Zhengzhou. Here are examples from the market and from private collections. Photos by Gary L. 1. i’d like to say, that artifact you have is unique. more genuine than you think. i suggest you try butting the butt end on top of the “crossbow” and see what happens. i have a intuitive thought that the crossbow you have is higher technolody and holds deeper secrets, further of which meets the eye physically and first internally. i ask of you that you just give it a try
